Hello and thank you for visting my blog!
My name is Sheri and I am the 30 year old writer of Sugar Coated Chef. I live in downtown Chicago with my husband Marc.
Marc and I got married in September of 2010. We were so fortunate to receive many wedding gifts that were kitchen related. A lot of these gifts were for baking specifically and that is the reason why Sugar Coated Chef (originally chicagosweetsandtreats.wordpress.com) was created. I wanted to show my friends and family how much use I got out of these baking tools and that they were not sitting in my cabinets collecting dust.
After about 6 months, I decided to expand my blog topics. I originally focused on baking because it is my true passion. As I began cooking more, eating in wonderful restaurants, using awesome kitchen products, and finding many recipes in cookbooks- I knew that I wanted to share those things as well.

I work with your mother-in-law, Helene. You probably remember that I and my wife, JoAnn went to your wedding and were introduced to you. Our daughter had been married the night before. Helene told me about your food blog. The recipes look delicious although I’m not a baker. Have a nice holiday.
